Win amp 5.09:winamp.exe-ordinal not found, error after installing winamp?

After installing winamp5.09 media player on my windows XP based system, the application could not be executed instead I came across an error” winamp 5.09: winamp.exe-ordinal not found the ordinal 422 could not be located in the dynamic link library PX.dll, how to solve this problem?

Reason behind it may be that the program has not been installed properly and some of its supporting files are missing. Following the given steps this problem can be fixed-
• Uninstall winamp using perfect uninstaller or by add or remove program option of control panel
• Then the system is to be rebooted.
• Reinstall Winamp
• During setup execution, click on choose components
• From audio file support remove sonic ripping/burning support option
• Once again boot the system, hope this works.
