What is the process for converting AVI Movies to iPod Format?

I have movie files in the AVI format and now I want to get in on my iPod. As avi file format is not compatible with iTunes and the iPod. Is there any Converter that can convert avi files easily in my iPod. I would like to convert my files in the file format of mpg or mp4 to be played in my iPod. What’s the process of conversion of files?

iPod is so convenient that I too take my iPod always with me. With this I can easily view my favorite movies and make them show to my friends too. Some days back I was also in the same confusion. But than I got to know about iPod File converter and installed it in my system. This is really amazing, I get my all movies, videos converted in iPod. You just required clicking “optimize for iPod” in the settings box. Than check the “Add to iTunes” box in the settings. Than you can yourself add the converted movie to iTunes when the process get convert.

Now attach the Avi files, here batch processing can also work. Make a selection of the folder where you will save the converted files in mpg or mp4 file format. Click on start for converting files. Than look in iTunes for the converted files and make it play in your iPod.
