Scanpst fails ?

when I try to run scanpst.exe to fix the issue of corruption, while running it in the middle of the repair process it fails with the error message. Still my PST file is corrupted. I want to fix it now. IS there any solution to solve out this problem?

senorita 		Sometimes, outlook users face such kind of problem when they try to execute scanpst.exe program to repair corrupted PST file. There is reason for this—either your PST file has exceeded its size from 2GB and corrupted or corruption is sever in data. Scanpst.exe which is commonly known as inbox repair tool can only solve corruption in header file but if corruption is severe in data it won’t able to solve the corruption issue. Secondly if PST file size is more than 2GB then the condition will be the same. It fails in the middle of repair process and leaves you with the same corrupted PST file.

If scanpst.exe fails and you want to repair corrupted PST file then the simple solution is use available third party inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) which is designed with the more powerful algorithm than the scanpst.exe (Inbox repair tool) comes with outlook application. Irrespective of reason of corruption, it repair corrupted PST file and make your PST file accessible once again. Now you can save your items from PST file.
