Reboot in safe mode can recover lost windows password. How?

I have forgotten my windows password and I don’t want to reinstall the OS because it will cause data loss. My friend has advised me to reboot in safe mode. But I don’t know how to do that. Please help?

Emilydcosta 		Yes you can again access you windows after rebooting in the safe mode.
1) Reboot the system
2) Then before windows boot screen appears, press F8
3) Choose “Start windows in safe mode”
4) Then Click through some self descriptive screens till you reach “welcome” screen
5) Then find Administrator user icon
6) Safe mode welcome screen may show some other users on the system
7) Then login as an admin
8) If prompt ask “if you would like to continue with safe mode” then click yes
9) Then continue to user setting at control panel- you may change the password
10) Then reboot the system
11) Then you can login as a user account with your new password

If this process doesn’t work then you can also use the window password recovery tool to reset your lost windows password.
