Photoshop CS3 isn’t responding or opening ?

I recently updated the Photoshop to 10.0.1. Later on when I tried to run it, it is not opening and I am getting an icon for few seconds and then it stops responding. The activity monitor opens but it is not responding to anything.

I am really pissed up and want my Photoshop to work again like the way it used to do earlier. Can anyone help me out of this problem?

To get you access the Photoshop like you did earlier; go to the Photoshop program folder through Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop. Then right click on photoshop.exe and click to the properties. In the compatibility tab, checkmark ‘run this program as an administrator’. In the security tab click on the advanced button located at the bottom. Then select your log in name and select ‘allow’ for everything.

By going through these Photoshop Repair steps, the Photoshop CS3 would start working and you would then be able to get access to its contents.
