PST file recovered from backup does not work; neither it is repaired with scanpst.exe giving message as” inbox repair tool does not recognize the file”?
Few days ago my laptop crashed, though it has been re-built now but there has been problem associated with the PST files I recovered from the backup. Actually they aren’t working the way they should; neither do they attach to outlook and I got the message that” the file is not a personal folder file”. They on trying to repair the file with scanpst.exe I got the error “Inbox repair tool does not recognize the file”, I really don’t know what to do know, my PST contained vital data without which my work cannot proceed, any ways by which I get back my PST file in original form.
