I got an error message while accessing MS Outlook and soon after the error was displayed the application terminates. I don’t know why it happened, please help me out?

I got an error message which says – “Errors have been detected in the file. Quit all mail-enabled applications and then use the Inbox Repair Tool” while accessing MS Outlook 2002. I know nothing about this error and why it is caused. Please help me to resolve it, any help will be appreciated.

Well, this error is related to the size of the PST file of your MS Outlook. This error is generally thrown by the MS Outlook’s controller when the size of the PST file is passed its limitation which is of 2GB. So, when the file size of PST reaches near to its limitation the MS Outlook’s behavior degrades considerably and when the size went passed the limitation this kind of error’s are thrown. The only way to get rid of this error message is by splitting the PST file and for that purpose use any Split PST File tool which will effectively split the PST files.
