How to split my 4GB outlook 2003 PST file according to date ?

I am using outlook 2003 for a long time and now it is getting really slower. I thought that it is due to the large size of outlook PST file and then I check the size of PST file. It was tremendously bigger 3.95 GB. I was thinking that it will be over 2 GB but after checking the file I am sure that it is due to the big size of PST file. Now I want to make my outlook faster but also want to use this PST file. So is it any way to make the PST file small and work properly?

Hi, you are going to the right way. It is a fact that as the PST files grows bigger; it becomes tough for the outlook to operate over the PST file. So you need to first make its size smaller and then you can see that the problem will be solved. It can be done via Split PST which is outlook PST file splitting software. The software is used to split the PST file according to two ways. First is by using the size of the files and second by using the time of the files present in the PST file.

3.95 GB is actually a huge file and if it faced any problem then it will be a great loss for you. In order to prevent the data loss you need to take the earlier steps and use the Split PST. If you try to use it and split everything according to the time then it will do so and after splitting the file you can see the new smaller PST files that contain the same data which is stored according to the date.
