Dear I respect your attention about your information and Organization. Yes, MS Exchange provides us the facility to share data and information across the network. But sometimes your public file folders may be corrupt or damaged or even accidentally delete any precious data or file(s). When Microsoft known about these issues, offered a tool that easy to restore and backup public file folders in Exchange 2000.
And that application is named as PFDAVAdmin tool. Just download and properly install and run it in your system. Properly restore the public folders through this application you need to follow the below given steps:
Step 1: Open the application, click on File menu and connect.
Step 2: Now enter the Exchange server name which you want to connect
Step 3: For Exchange server, give the name of the global catalog.
Step 4: Now select the Public Folders section and then click on OK.
Step 5: From the drop-down list of public folder tree, choose parent folder of the public folder that is needed to restore.
Step 6: Now right-click on the parent folder and opt Show delete file folders.
Step 7: Again right-click the deleted folder and choose Recover and then click OK.
After a few moments when restoration will be completed, Windows will give you the indication of their success. It means your Exchange Server Recovery has been completed and you have once again access those missing file folders.
