This error can be resolved but for that you will have to Repair BCD store by using startup Repair option and then you can get vista data recovery. For that follow some important steps they are as follows:
• Use startup repair option and put windows vista installation disc, then start the computer.
• When it prompts click a key.
• Then select time, currency, other input, keyboard and then click next.
• Click Repair your Computer option.
• Then click the operating system that needs to be repaired and click next.
• Click startup repair in the system recovery option.
• Then restart your computer.
After performing these steps your error can be resolved.
