How to play Mod video files on Macintosh?

I have some video recording in my camcorder and I want to share it with my friends but whenever I tried to play it couldn’t play on his computer. I think camcorder recording format does not support other video format so that I am looking converter software to solve this problem. Please anyone can suggest me about this mod converter software any other solution if you know.

mariarita 		MOD video format is used in camcorder, like Canon, Panasonic, JVC. We use Camcorder for recording favorite moment of life like party; birthdays; holidays etc and these are recorded into tape which support MOD video format. If you want to play these recording on computer then it does not allow because it does not support mpg, mpeg, avi, wmv and more other video format.
