File Error Message when trying to view the picture and memory stick ?

Hi, I purchased a Lenovo T30 6 months ago and a Sony digital camera at the same day. The memory chip that require in digital camera is 1 GB and it was fine taking good pictures with its 8 mega pixels lens. When I was riding by bicycle yesterday morning, accidentally my camera slipped from my hand and fall on the ground. I was upset since it got some scratches on its body. When I came back home and tried to connect it to my T30, it was not reading the memory card and I am in a big problem. I think the when the camera dropped, It was on and saving pictures that I was taken one second ago. Please give me some idea about how can I manage these things?
