Does Scanpst.exe utility of MS Outlook is sufficient enough to handle PST related problems?

While accessing some of my mails in MS Outlook I got an error message which says “problem while accessing PST file”. I am using MS Outlook for couple of months but didn’t encounter with this error before. I don’t know what to do. One of friends suggested me about Scanpst.exe utility but is it sufficient enough to handle this type of error? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

emilyjohn 		New MS Office 2007 is very advance and new version of MS Office. It is incorporated with many new features and facilities which you will not get in any other versions of MS Office. So it is quite apparent that Scanpst.exe utility is even more powerful then ever before. In these conditions if your PST file gets corrupted then I am sure that Scanpst.exe will solve your problem and if it fails then you obviously have to solve the problem using any third party software. There are very few Outlook 2007 Repair software’s in the market which will solve your problem because of new release of MS Office 2007. But present software’s are efficient enough to fix your problems, so go for it.

albertjohn 		Scanpst.exe is very powerful tool in MS Office package which can rectify your PST related problems. When PST file gets corrupted or do not responds properly to the requests made then Scanpst.exe tool can be used to search and fix the errors in PST file. But it is applicable only if the corruption is minor, for major corruptions you need to use any other 3rd party software to repair and make your PST work. You can easily get repair software’s for different windows versions in the market. Outlook PST Repair Vista for the users who use Vista version of Windows is an ideal tool to repair the PST file. There are many such software’s which can repair your PST files effortlessly, so go for any of them.
