Computer became restarted and iPod lost all files when connected with PC. Help me! ?

Hi,
I bought a one-year used iPod 80gig Classic. I have updated iTunes and using USB2.0. The iPod were half-filled with some melody songs (audio/video both), funny videos, images, etc. When I connected it to PC, I got the Windows showed the USB and abnormally “restarted”. Suddenly I plugged out my iPod and when searched, all the present files were missing. Can somebody tell me, “What happened with iPod and how will recover the missing files & folders?”

You any help would be appreciated!

JimmyRayJit 		Here you have not mentioned about what screen were looked after the re-start the Windows. Was the blue screen or different. If the screen was different, it could be an issue of USB Host Controller driver. Please update it and try again. Oh, sorry, you have also lost your all files and folder from the iPod menu.

It could be a data loss. If so, please re-load the files and folders using backup. And, if you have also iPod backup up issue, last option remains as “iPod Data Recovery”. iPod data recovery could be easily done using any professional iPod Data Recovery tool. After re-covering the missing files & folders, with the help of update or latest version of iTunes, re-import the files.
