Priv.edb is one of the most important exchange server file with rich text server database that contains headers, messages, attachments etc and manages file of server and messages. Still it won’t be possible to possible to restore data from it as it also becomes inaccessible when server is down. The edb repair and recovery is possible with the help of disk management tool of Windows system.
It is done as follows-
• Start menu – Run –cmd and enter
• Type chkdsk x:/f where x is the drive where edb files are stored and then press enter
• Y can be checked, to that system is checked at startup
• Restart the system and it will check and fix all files from the drive, and so the files are repaired and can now be accessed.
