How to fix Oversized Outlook PST error?

Hello, I am facing a big trouble now a day from my outlook. My problem is that all the information, stored in PST file became inaccessible. I don’t know the reason. Now whenever I try to retrieve any information it raises the error like “Outlook .PST cannot be accessed - 0x80040600 or Unknown errors.”. The problem is started when I download some file attached with email. I am not a technical person. So if you have any easy solution; then please help me.

Your problem is happening because of oversized PST file. When you downloaded the file; probably the size of PST file has become more than 2GB. After that PST file becomes slow. If you store more data on PST file then your PST file becomes corrupt and it is not accessible by the outlook. In this case your all the stored information becomes inaccessible.

To fix outlook pst you can use Inbox Repair Tool. But it is little technical. At first you will have to find scanPST.exe. Then you have to go through the more complex process in order to recover the file.

As you mentioned above that you are not a technical person; In this case you can use PST Repair Tool. It is easy to use and can recover your corrupted PST file in few minutes. It will scan your entire drive for corrupted PST file. After that it will show you preview of the file. And finally it will recover the damaged PST file and automatically import them in outlook. Now you can retrieve and stored all the information in your PST file.
