How to resolve Error 0x800ccc0f?

Hello, I am Jack Harris. I have been using outlook since 2005. I store all the email, messages and contact info in Outlook. Since few days; I am facing a trouble with my outlook. Whenever I try to send my email or receiving an email; outlook suddenly throws an error. The error is

“Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes of this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account. account name, Server: 'server name', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '+OK', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800ccc0f”

I checked my Internet connection and it is well. I also tried to send an email through my Gmail account. It is also sent. I also reinstall the outlook but the problem is same. Now I am not able to understand that why it is creating this type of trouble?

Hello Harris. I know very well about the error 0x800ccc0f. I have also faced this type of frustrated situation. This is not a very big trouble. If your internet connection is good then check your firewall settings to grant access the following files:

For the Outlook Express: Msimn.exe
For the Outlook: Outlook.exe

If your problem does not solve then check your E-mail Server Settings. In order to check the settings; contact your system administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP).

If your problem is still there then you must check your PST file. I am sure, that your PST file has corrupted. To recover your corrupted PST file you may use PST Repair tool; Install it in your computer; after that scan your PST file, recover them and store the content in a new PST file. Then import the new created PST file in your outlook. I am sure; that your problem will be solved.
