"Outlook.pst can not be accessed - 0x80040116" ?

When I start my outlook 2000 and when I try to open one of my .pst file I encounter with such error message. I donot understand what to do? Any suggestion

This error message indicates that your respective .pst file gets corrupted so that when you try to access or open you are not able to do so. There are many reasons for corruption in pst file like virus attack, improper use of outlook application, file system error etc. Outlook comes with tool to repair corrupted PST file called inbox repair tool.
