As the reason is know, that this problem is persisting due to over sized PST file. Before taking any serious action against oversize problem, you must check the real file size by following these steps:
1. Start your Outlook.
2. Select the mailbox from the left panel.
3. Right-click over the mailbox and select Properties option
4. Then a Dialog box will appears.
5. Click over Folder size push bottom and then read the file size status.
If you get the over sized file size, then be sure that you are required to split pst file into small PST tables to resolve this issue. For that you can manually deleted some of the unneeded files or emails from the database. But it can be risky. The second way to overcome this problem is to use Crop utility to resolve the over size problem. But if the problem persists, you may also refer Outlook 2007 PST Repair Tool to shoot out your PST over size issue in safe way.
